Days01-02 : Paris / Kathmandu
, arrival in Kathmandu , transfer to Hotel. Day03 : Freeday in Kathmandu , we take care of obtaining Chinese group visa. O/N Hotel. Day04 : Flight Kathmandu/Gonggar ( Lhasa airport), transfer to hotel. Walk around barkhor with pilgrims. O/N Hotel. Days05-06 : Lhasa (3600m). Visit of the Potala palace, the residence of the Dalai Lamas and the temple of Jokhang , the most sacred of Tibet which attracts thousands of pilgrims everyyear from all over Tibet . O/N Hotel. The second day, visit of Sera monastery and the summer palace of NorbuLinka on your mountain bikes. O/N Hotel. |

| Day07 : Lhasa –
Gampa (3740m) 90km. Descend the Kyichu valley without difficulty till the
bridge over the Tsangpo river. After crossing the bridge, ana easy climb
till just above the village of Gampa . O/N Camp Day08 : Gampa – Kampa la(4784m)-Yarsik(4482m) 55km. At the end of a 21km climb on a regular trail, we arrive at Kampa la pass where we have an exceptional panorama of the turquoise blue lake of Yamdrok with a backround of Kula Kangri(7252m) which marks the Bhutanese border. Then the road winds down to the lake that we pass alongside till Yarsik. O/N Camp. Day09 : Yarsik – Karola(5047m) – Ralung(4485m) 70km. Continue alongside the lake till the village of Nagartse then turn west up the Karo la pass, packed lunch at the foot of the glacier of Nojin Gangsang(7191m) and finally descend towards the vaste plateau near the village of Ralung. O/N Camp. |

Day10 : Ralung – Simi
la(4455m) –Gyantse 52km. An easy day along the Nyang Chu river till
Gyantse, a small town which has preserved its local flavour. In the afternoon
visit of the Kumbum stupa and the Pelkor Chode monastery. O/N Hotel Gyantse. Day11 : Gyantse – Shigatse 90km. An easy day too along the vaste Nyang Chu valley till Shigatse, the second largest city of Tibet . Visit of Tashilhunpo monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lamas and the local market. O/N Hotel Shigatse. Day12 : Shigatse – Phuntsoling(4300m) 85km. The trail undulates in a mineral landscape and across small villages from time to time. O/N Camp. |

| Day13 : Phuntsoling –
Lhatse(3940m) – Mangaphu(4325m) 70km. The trail goes along the Tsangpo
river till the town of Lhatse and then up to the village of Mangaphu . O/N
Camp. Day14 : Mangaphu – Gyatso la(5220m) – Shegar(4315m). 79km. We go up the Guatso la pass, the highest point of our trip, spectacular view of the Himalayas . Then a long descend to Shegar. O/N Camp. Day15 : Shegar – Pang la(5210m) – Chuzam(4350m) 55km. Departure by jeep with the bikes on the truck to cross the Everest National park check point and the first part of the ascent to Pang la. Wonderful view of the Himalayas from the pass, Makalu , Everest, Cho Oyu . Continue the superb descent of around 1000m and then climb up across pasture land till the village of Chuzam . O/N Camp. |

Day16 : Chuzam – Rongbuk(5050m)
32km. We bike up to the foot of Everest to Rongbuk, world’s highest
monastery. Magnificent view of the Everest(north face) on the way up. O/N
Camp near the monastery. Day17 : Rongbuk – Everest base camp – Rongbuk. We can trek the 2hrs walk up to the base camp, explore amd walk back. O/N Camp. Day18 : Rongbuk – Tingri(4450m). Descend till the village of Phadharuchi from where we can put the bikes on the truck for the climb up to Pang la. From the pass bike down to Tingri. O/N Camp. Day19 : Tingri – Lalung(4720m) 77km. We follow the vast valley through pasturelands and small lakes till Guntso. Then through a smaller valley, a gradual climb up before arriving a vast plateau to our camp. O/N Camp. |

| Day20 : Lalung –
Toulung la(5124m) – Milarepa cave(3900m). 80km. Start up to the Lalung
la pass followed by a short descend and then again a long climb up towards
the pass where we can have a spectacular view of the Himalayas . Descend
to the Milarepa cave. O/N Camp. Day21 : Milarepa cave – Zangmu(2000m) – Kodari(1500m) 60km. Continue descending into the deep valley through the Himalayas to enter the dense vegetation of Nepal . After the formalities at Zangmu, the road winds down to Kodari, a small Nepalese border town. Camp or Lodge. Day22 : Kodari – Dolalghat(540m) – Panchkaal(980m) 70km. Descend through the Nepalese countryside on a good road till Dolalghat and then ascent towards Panchkaal. O/N Camp. |

| Day23 : Panchkaal – Dhulikhel(1500m)
– Kathmandu . 50km. Climb up on good road towards the town of Dhulikhel
and then the final descent to Bhaktapur and Kathmandu . O/N Hotel. Days24-25 : Kathmandu , free time. O/N Hotel. Day26 : Flight back home. |
